A former Deputy Communications Minister in the Mahama administration, Felix Ofosu Kwakye has raised concern about the newly created Ministry for Public Enterprise.
In a social media post sighted by Ghface.com, the NDC politician brutality described the Ministry for Public Enterprise as a “superfluous” ministry created by President Akufo-Addo.
According to Felix Ofosu Kwakye, there is no need for such a ministry when the Trade Ministry can oversee the activities of all public enterprises.

He tweeted;
“So President Akufo-Addo can simply not do away with the creation of superfluous Ministries and Portfolios?”

On the other side, the National Democratic Congress legislators who are on the parliament’s appointment committee have refused to vet Joseph Cudjoe, the Minister-designate for the Public Enterprise Ministry on grounds that they do not know the purposes for the creation of the ministry are.
