After dating him for five (5) and more years, she is being stopped from marrying him because her mother says the man is Ewe.
A 27-year-old Fante lady whose name has been withheld for security has revealed that her mother stopped her marriage because the boyfriend of 5-years is Ewe.
In a sit-down with FNN24.com, the upset lady narrated that her mother has objected to her with relationship her boyfriend on grounds that he is an Ewe.
She continued that her mother later became very cool with her boyfriend after she realized that he is a good and well-cultured man every mother would want as a husband for her daughter.
Now, that the time has come for the two lovers to walk down the aisle, the lady’s mother is objecting to the marriage which was supposed to happen in December 2020.
She narrated;
“… After 5 years of dating this wonderful boyfriend, my mother does not want me to marry. She said we are Fantes and he is an Ewe and they are not good people.
“She first objected to our relationship from the onset but later became cool with boyfriend when he started coming home with some gifts.
“Now that it is time to settle down, she is stopping the marriage. We’re supposed to be married in December 2020 but my mother did not allow it to happen.
“We’re are now in February 2021 and she is still saying no to the marriage.”
