One of the places where the downpour has destroyed properties which is worth noting is Dome-Kwabena under the GA East Municipal Assembly.

Dome-Kwabena always gets flooded anytime there is a little of two hours of continuous downpour putting human lives and properties at risk.

But Monday night’s downpour is has caused a lot of damages as the place has been left in a deplorable state.

Some of its residents have been also rendered homeless as the rain entered their homes to and destroyed their stuff.

An electric pole at Dome crossing is even at the verging of falling down after the downpour. Businesses are struggling to also open.

The question therefore is, what are the authorities doing to help prevent these natural disasters anytime there is a downpour.
