Leader of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), John Dramani Mahama has taken a bold step to report the Electoral Commission chair(EC), Jean Mensa to the Commonwealth.
The opposition leader made his stance to the Commonwealth General Secretary, Rt Hon Patricia Scotland QC during a meeting which took place on Friday, 18 December 2020.
John Mahama tweeted on his Twitter handle following the meeting and it said, “Meeting with the Secretary General of The Commonwealth, Rt Hon Patricia Scotland QC, and her team.
“Together with Professor Naana Opoku Agyemang, NDC National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and others, we briefed the Secretary General on the basis of our position on the results declared by the Electoral Commission.

He further revealed the incompetence of the Electoral Commission under Jean Mensa and clearly stated that he will do what seems right to meter out justice.
