Founder and Leader of Family Altar, Rev Moses Bennisan has claimed that insulting good people is equally an insult to God.
According to the renowned preacher, it’s God who has placed such good people in high places of authority.
In a Facebook post, Reverend Bennisan has, therefore, cautioned individuals who are mostly attacking good men.
He said;
“Against whom do you sport yourself? Against whom do you open wide your mouth And stick out your tongue? Are you not children of rebellion, Offspring of deceit,” Isaiah 57:4
Israel’s sin in this passage was to insult the Men of God in the land.
Miriam and Aaron also spoke against Moses because of his Cushite wife, They said, “Is it true that the Lord has spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” The fact that we can hear from God doesn’t give us the right to insult spiritual authorities.

When they insulted Moses, God heard it. And at once the Lord came down and called Aaron and Miriam. When both of them had come near, the Lord said, “Now listen to Me. If there is a man who speaks for God among you, I the Lord will make Myself known to him in a special dream. I will speak to him in a dream. Not so, with My servant Moses. He is faithful in all My house. With him, I speak face to face in ways he understands, and not in ways he does not understand. And he sees what the Lord is like. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?”
Numbers 12:9ff The Lord was angry with them, Miriam was punished with a very bad skin disease. She was as white as snow. Then Aaron said to Moses, “O, my lord, I beg you. Do not punish us because we have been foolish and have sinned. And Moses cried to the Lord, saying, “O God, heal her, I pray!”
Interestingly, it took the prayer of Moses for Miriam’s restoration.
