The National Identification Authority (NIA) has directed field officials to effectively update their momo numbers to MTN.

The NIA is expected to resume the Ghana card registration in the Eastern region after suspending registration in March due to COVID-19.

President Akufo-Addo in his 10th coronavirus address to the Nation on the night of Sunday, May 31, 2020, has directed the NIA and the Electoral Commission to go ahead with their mandatory activities.

Against this background, NIA looking forward to resuming registration in the Eastern region has released a statement directing it’s temporary staff to update it’s portal with their right MTN momo numbers.
