The Supreme Court has granted a request by former President John Mahama to have the proceedings of the 2020 election petition telecast live on national television.
According to Citi News‘ reporter, Sixtus Dong Ullo, the Apex court ruled on its own to have the live courage of the proceedings.
Sixtus reported;
“The Supreme Court was of the view that there was no need to argue that motion based on precedents. The Court has thus made provision for the state broadcaster to telecast proceedings.”
It could be recalled that former President John Mahama has filed the election petition at the Highest Court after refusing to accept the declared results.
