General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), John Boadu claims the National Democratic Congress(NDC) is a joke since they have made claims that are not realistic.
John Boadu has mocked the National Democratic Congress(NDC) on Asempa Fm’s Ekosii Sen since he doesn’t understand why the party should make claims about winning the parliamentary seats when they do not have any solid evidence to back their claims.
He further stated that the Electoral Commission has made it clear that the New Patriotic Party(NPP) is leading with 137seats whereas the National Democratic Congress(NDC) with 136 seats so sees no reason why the NDC should be parading around claiming victory.
“They (NDC) are not even interested in the presidential seat but are ready to elect a Speaker of Parliament, majority leaders and others? That will not happen today or tomorrow because they cannot claim the majority when we are leading,” he said amidst laughter.
John Boadu says it will take a miracle for the National Democratic Congress(NDC) to win the presidential or the parliamentary even if they seek a redress.
