Popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has graduated from University with a Masters Degree in International Relations.
But being a determined mother she pursued her Master’s Degree so that her daughter Ryn Roberts won’t have any excuse not to school to the highest level as well.
“I wanted to raise the bar for Ryn. Growing up, I wanted her not to have the excuse of getting a higher education. So I decided to go to school to do my Masters“, she said.
In a video posted on YouTube, Yvonne Nelson didn’t tell the University she went to, but she revealed that she read a course in “MASTERS DEGREE IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND DIPLOMACY”.
Speaking on the main reason why she went back to school, the 35-year-old actress said:
“Well, I went back to school because I wanted to add value to myself. I wanted to equip myself in life, I wanted to be knowledgeable when it comes to world governance, politics, superpowers.
So I decided to go to school.
I think the idea came when I organized my #DumsorMustStopCampaign. I realized that I needed to educate myself more on politics“.
