President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo has revealed his plan to name the University for Development Studies after late former president, Jerry John Rawlings.
The late former president, who happens to contribute a lot to the establishment and development of the University demised on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
The president, Nana Addo has however revealed plans to name the University after Jerry John Rawlings in honor of his name.
Even though the former president was against it when he was alive, Nana Addo has taken it upon himself to do this in honor of him.
He said this when he read tribute for the former late president during his burial rite at the black star square.
