Supreme Court dismisses John Mahama’s case against the Electoral Commission

The supreme court has finally made its judgement and has therefore dismissed the case of John Mahama against the Electoral commission.

After 17  sit backs at the supreme court, it has finally declared Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo as president of the Republic of Ghana.

The court stated that the 2nd correspondent obtained more than 50% of the total valid votes with Jean Mensa having the right to make corrections of her errors during the declaration.

With no evidence on record showing that the errors had an impact on the total valid votes, 2nd crossed 50% threshold and therefore petition dismissed because it has no merit.

John Mahama has lost the case with Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo officially declared the president of Ghana.
