Stop Abusing Gospel Musicians In Ghana – Kwesi Ernest Fumes

Renowned talent management Consultant and CEO of Medi Excel, Kwesi Ernest laments how Gospel Musicians in Ghana are being cheated, disrespected, and abused.

Speaking as a contributing guest on an Accra-based CTV’s ‘Dwabirem’ hosted by Kojo Preko Dankwa, an angry Kwesi Ernest said the abuse melted on gospel musicians in the country must be stopped.

According to him, an event where rapper Sarkodie is charging 100,000 Ghanaian cedis for a show, a gospel musician is being paid just 5,000 Ghanaian cedis.

He fumed;

“… Gospel musicians in this are being abused for far too long. The abuse is too much. An event where Sarkodie is charging 100,000 Ghanaian cedis, you go and a gospel musician is charging only 5, 000 Ghanaian cedis.”

Saddened by the situation, Kwesi Ernest who was a former manager of Joyce Blessing called for the abuse on gospel musicians to stop.

“… the abuse is too much. This abuse must stop,” he said.
