The Electoral Commission(EC) under management of Jean Mensa has made it known to Ghanaians that the presidential results would be declared today.
This notification came in after the Commission failed to declare the results in 24 hours after the 2020 elections which took place on December 7. The reason the Electoral Commission(EC) claimed they failed to declare the results was because they had not received figures from collation centers in two regions.
However, a press conference took place yesterday and the Electoral Commission apologized for the delay. The Deputy Chairman in-charge of Corporate Services, Dr. Eric Asare Bossman also said at the conference that the results will be declared with or without the total figures from the two remaining regions.
