NDC influenced you to mislead Ghanaians – Razak Opoku tells Manasseh

An activist of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has accused some journalists of embarking on smear campaigns against the Akufo-Addo government.

According to Razak Kojo Opoku, these journalists have been paid to deliberately make the NPP government unpopular with false reports.

His comments come on the back of a documentary aired by Joy News on the operations of a secret militia group associated with the governing party.

The undercover report exposes the operations of De-Eye Group from the former seat of the President at the Osu Castle.

Reacting to the documentary, the NPP Communicator descended on the Head of Joy News investigative desk, Manasseh Azure Awuni for attempting to mislead Ghanaians with his “empty” report.

He is convinced Manasseh was paid by the opposition NDC to “cast doubt in the minds of the general public” about President Akufo-Addo’s commitment to ending political vigilantism in the country.

“Now Manasseh of Multimedia too wanted to create an impression that there is a state of insecurity in the Country but once again majority of Ghanaians have totally ignored such a wasteful and useless effort,”  Razak Opoku stated in a communique sighted by AwakeNewsOnline.com.

He challenged the journalist to provide a proof that the De-Eye Group is indeed a registered vigilante group being sponsored by the NPP.

”Manasseh, can you provide to the general Public, any documents from the Registrar-General’s Department that indeed proves that De-Eye Group was registered by the New Patriotic Party or Government?” he quizzed.

“… I think probably you were influenced by the NDC to cast doubt in the minds of the general public about President Akufo-Addo’s commitment to end thuggery in the Nation.

No amount of propaganda can deter and distract President Akufo-Addo from achieving his positive goals for the Country,” he stressed.

*Manasseh Militia Hot Air is Empty, Below the Belt and Wasted Efforts*

The consistent and systematic attempts by some paid journalists to run down our Government and tarnish the image of President Akufo-Addo will amount to nothing.

These paid journalists started to tag our Government with corruption but it backfired.

Now Manasseh of Multimedia too wanted to create an impression that there is a state of insecurity in the Country but once again majority of Ghanaians have totally ignored such a wasteful and useless effort.

Manasseh, can you provide to the general Public, any documents from the Registrar-General’s Department that indeed proves that De-Eye Group was registered by the New Patriotic Party or Government?

If not, then why do you ignorantly and shamelessly align the De-Eye Group to the New Patriotic Party and Government?

I think probably you were influenced by the NDC to cast doubt in the minds of the general public about President Akufo-Addo’s commitment to end thuggery in the Nation.

No amount of propaganda can deter and distract President Akufo-Addo from achieving his positive goals for the Country.

It was very nonsensical for Manasseh to link an ex-bodyguard of the president to President Akufo-Addo.

The De-Eye Group is *NOT* and *CAN NEVER BE* connected to President Akufo-Addo and New Patriotic Party in any way and in any form.

Can I also accuse Manasseh of having HIV and gonorrhea if the ex-girlfriend he left in 2010 was diagnosed of having such diseases in 2018?
