Singer Wendy Shay, born Wendy Addo says her Uncle, Jeff Konadu Addo was the first to discover her talent as a singer.
Wendy Shay told Abeiku Santana in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM that her uncle who is the Eastern Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) discovered her singing talent while bathing.
She revealed;

“It was my uncle who discovered my talent, I was in the shower taking a bath when he heard me sing. He called my name, Abena, and confessed that I was a great singer. I had come to visit during one of my holidays. That is how he motivated me to record my first demo at a studio.”
The RuffTown Records signee, therefore, said she is highly indebted to her Uncle who motivated her to pursue a music career.
