An ayigbe man has got the general public in outmost confusion as he laments over the change of his daughter’s name from Emefa to Obaa Yaa by his baby mama.
According to the ayigbe man, his baby mama’s family refused to accept him into their family because of his ethnicity even after they realized their daughter was carrying his baby.
He said he tried everything within his power to convince them that he was human just like they were but all proved futile.
Efo said he gave up on his baby mama but not his daughter. He revealed that during the naming ceremony, he named his baby girl Emefa which means cool or at peace but got to know it was changed to Obaa Yaa six months later.
When he confronted his baby mama, she said her family was against the name and pressured her to change her ewe name to an ashanti name which she did.
Efo, however did not understand why as the father of the child was not even allowed to name his daughter to his own preference.
He has decided to go and take custody of his daughter before the family of his baby mama pollute her mind against voltarians like they did with her mom.
