Kwesi Arthur nominated in MTV Africa Music Awards

Ghanaian hip hop artiste, Kwesi Arthur has been nominated for the 2021 MTV Africa Music Awards.

Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior as named by his parents  began to pursue his music career after he listened to Drake’s debut” Thank me later”.  Kwesi Arthur rose to fame after “Grind day” was released in 2015. He also released  a remix of the same song with Sarkodie and Medikal and that opened many doors for him.

The nominees for the MTV Africa Music award was declared on the 9th of December 2020.

Kwesi Arthur was nominated in the hip hop category alongside OMG, NGA, Nasty C, Kaligraph Jones and Suspected 95.

Diamond Platinumz, Master KG, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Calema, Davido and Wizkid have also been nominated for MTV Africa Music Award as artiste of the year.
