Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has written a letter to the Electoral Commission(EC) requesting for a recount in his constituency.
The Ayawaso West Wougon aspiring MP in favor of the National Democratic Party(NDC) wrote a letter to the EC to consider recounting the ballot papers in his constituency after his opponent Lydia Alhassan emerged victorious.
He claimed there were irregularities at some of the polling stations in his constituency which led to losing of figures on his side.
Such irregularities as claimed by John Dumelo was the swapping of his figures and that of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) aspirant, Lydia Alhassan at polling stations.
