Kumawood actress, Portia Asare Boateng tells Ghanaians it is not shameful to be a divorced woman.
In an interview with Delay monitored by GHface.com, the actress told the host that she had no shame she was divorced and felt she did what she did for the sake of her own happiness.
She further continued that marriage is a long journey and needs corporation and understanding from the two parties involved and deemed it wrong for couples who do not understand each other in certain perspective.
Portia Asare said she felt she did nothing wrong because she was divorced but saw it as an opportunity to tell people who frowned on divorced women that it is not the fault of these women but situations that could not be controlled.
