Ghanaian movie producer Samuel Darko has claimed ownership of the name of our local movie industry “Kumawood”.
In an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, Samuel Darko said he is the only sole and certified owner of the name.

According to the movie producer, he registered the name as a private company many years ago through an award scheme and for the matter has full rights over it.
He said;
“I have registered Kumawood as a company and no one can take it from me “
