I was forced into labor when Asamoah Gyan missed 2010 world cup penalty – Philipa Baafi

Ghanaian gospel musician, Philipa Baafi disclosed on live radio that she was forced into labor when Asamoah Gyan missed penalty in 2010 world cup.

The musician in an interview on Angel FM’s Sports salad with Saddick Adams revealed she was in the United States alone when the incident happened.

Philipa Baafi said she was so involved in the Ghana versus Uruguay quarter final match and was excited when the match began.

She said she became so tensed when Ghana was allowed a penalty against Uruguay and said her tension rose to the highest peak when Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan missed the penalty.

The gospel musician  who was 8 months pregnant then, disclosed she went into forced labor because of the tension and immediately called an ambulance where she was admitted in a hospital for 3 weeks until her delivery.
