Ghanaian television host of ‘Greetings from Abroad’, Nana Adwoa Awindor has advised the LGBTQI group not to push for the legalization of the act.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Obaapa Development Foundation opined that the LGBQI group can just practice their gayism and lesbianism in their rooms without necessarily demanding its legalization.
Speaking on Kumasi based Agyenkwa FM, during the commemoration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2021, the Queen-mother of Afigya-Kwabre district in the Ashanti Region of Ghana said;

“As a Christian, I am speaking from the Christian point of view that the Bible does not support LGBT + and Ghanaians do not support same-sex marriage. I don’t support it either.”
Queen-mother Nana Adwoa Awindor has therefore asked all Ghanaians not to accept the legalization of gayism or lesbianism in the country.
According to Singer Efya’s mother, they should keep quiet and do their thing in their bedroom and not go out and advocate for it to be legalized for public display.
“If you are doing your thing, do it in your room, for that no one will have any problem with you but if you go out and say that we must legalize it, I do not support it,” she said.
