The Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku constituency, Hon Ben Ayiku Narteh, has been honoured at the Best Teacher/Worker Awards Programme held in Teshie under the theme ” The role of the 21st-century teacher in accelerating socio-economic development ” by the Ledzokuku Municipal Education Office of the Ghana Education Service.
Hon Ayiku was honoured in recognition of his unwavering support and commitment towards the delivery of education in the Ledzokuku constituency. The MP was presented with a citation to honour him for his good works.
In the citation, the education office posited that ” As our MP, you were always close to us and ready to discuss our needs and to find ways of supporting us”
They further stated that his partnership with other stakeholders to organize the maiden municipal mock examination in 2021 deserves commendation.

Hon Ayiku after receiving the award expressed his gratitude to the Ledzokuku Municipal Education office for the recognition and stated that it will encourage him to do even greater things for his constituents.
The NDC MP has executed several programmes and projects in the Ledzokuku constituency including; the installation of over 2000 LED street and security lights in all electoral areas in Ledzokuku, Support for brilliant but needy students, expansion of technical and vocational training, construction of drains and construction of footbridges.
