A 15-year old Ghanaian girl with autism, Nana Yaa Ohenewa Kuffuor, declared her intentions of becoming a top model in September 2017.
Despite her challenges with autism, Nana Yaa chased her dreams and has since broken barriers to become a brand ambassador for Verna Mineral Water along with Maame Bema Baffour Awuah and Yacob Tete-Manon, also girls with autism.
With a beautiful broad-cheeked face, arches of a perfect eyebrow linked from opposite directions to a pointed nose that sits seamlessly just above a heart-shaped lip, Nana Yaa is a true definition of African beauty.
Nana Yaa is changing the narrative about people with autism.
Mary Amoah Kuffour, the mother of Nana Yaa, describes her daughter as “a cute angel”.
