‘Angry’ Ashiaman Residents Say “No Mahama, No Peace” (Video)

“No Mahama, No Peace”

Residents of Ashiaman in the Greater Accra region in a street demonstration have warned that “No Mahama, No Peace”.

In a video uploaded on the Fnn24 TV Youtube channel, the residents are against what they termed as ‘alleged’ fraudulent election results.

According to the demonstrators, the Electoral Commission led by Jean Mensa has declared fraudulent election results.

These angry Ashiaman residents, therefore, stormed the street to vent their displeasures were heard chanting “No Mahama, No Peace” with various placards.

Some of the placards had descriptions such as “Stolen Verdict”, “Akufo-Addo step down now”, “Respect our vote” among others.

Other NDC sympathizers were seen set car tires on fire and other materials to register their dissatisfaction with the action of the Jean Mesa-led Electoral Commission.

Some officials from the Ghana Police Service were around the scene.
