President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Office of the Chief of Staff have canceled this year’s Independence Day celebrations and all its related activities.
In a press statement dated February 15, the office said the Ghana Education Service has suspended the 64th Anniversary celebrations nationwide.
COVID-19: Ghana to receive 17.6 million vaccine dose in June – Akufo-Addo
The directive applies to all jurisdictions of local governments across the country, due to the high prevalence rate of the COVID-19 cases in the country.
