AFCON 2019: Kwadwo Asamoah Reveals Why He Couldn’t Deliver Against Cameroon

Deputy skipper of the Black Stars team Kwadwo Asamoah has revealed that he couldn’t deliver during the Cameroon match because he didn’t like the position he was playing.

Yesterday Ghana Black Stars played goaless draw against Cameroon as their 2nd match in the AFCON 2019.

Speaking to a journalist after the match, Kwadwo Asamoah said;

“It wasn’t the best game for me because I know what I can do when I play my normal position. I had difficulties in terms of positions but defensively it wasn’t a problem for me”.

He also disclosed that he likes the result that came from the match though they couldn’t win.

“I was playing as a left sided midfielder which I’m not very comfortable with but I’m so happy with the result and I tried to do my best for the team”, he revealed.

Kwadwo Asamoah used to be a midfielder but now plays as defender in his team. In the Cameroon game he played as midfielder due to that he couldn’t deliver.
