Abedi Pele Picks Jordan Over Andre Dede, Says He’s More Talented

Ghanaian former professional footballer, Abedi Ayew, known professionally as Abedi Pele has disclosed who among his sons is most talented.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on an Accra-based radio station, Citi FM, Abedi Pele who served as captain of the Ghana National Team, Black Stars named Jordan Ayew as his most talented and gifted son.

According to him, among his three footballing sons, Jordan got the most talent and skills on the pitch coupled with speed and great stamina.

For him not to be seen as being biased or partial, the 55 years old father quickly added that even Dede Ayew says that as well.

“They are both my children and you take each person with his qualities. However, I am not the only person to say that Jordan is the most talented, even Andre also says that.”

“Jordan has got speed and he is very elegant and nice to watch. He is relaxed, skillful, and has strength. He has got all the ingredients to be a good striker.

“In France, he proved it a couple of times but he is still young and we are working on him to be the best, not only in Ghana but in the world.”

Touching on the difference, Abedi Pele has this to say; “Andre who imposes his authority immediately. Jordan takes time to get it going,” Abedi told Citi FM.

Abedi Pele, affectionately called the ‘Maestro’ is regarded as one of the greatest African footballers of all time and who before hanging his football boots or saying goodbye to the game has scored 33 goals for Ghana out of 67 appearances.

The former Marseille legend is happily married to ‘beautiful’ Maha Ayew and a proud father of three (3) adult sons and one (1) pretty daughter; Ibrahim Rahim, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, and Imani Ayew.
