The Inter Milan star limped out of the Black Stars of Ghana second training ahead of their penultimate match against Kenya.
Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah suffered a knock on Wednesday morning at the Ethiopian Youth Sports Center in Addis Ababa where the senior national team of Ghana based.
Head coach, Kwesi Appiah confirmed the news about the 29-year-old’s injury to the media after their second training session.
“He [Kwadwo Asamoah] had a small injury. Just that I don’t want to put a problem for him to make it worse. It is important we treat it and then he trains slowly.” Kwesi Appiah told freelance Ethiopian journalist Omna Taddele Gebru as reported by FMIG.
Asamoah has been out of the Black Stars of Ghana team since 2014 due to injuries.
