Parliament vets Ken Ofori Atta’s nomination as Finance Minister today

The Appointments Committee of Parliament will today, Thursday, March 25, 2021 vet Ken Ofori Atta, the Minister of Finance-designate.

Recall Mr Ken Ofori-Atta was previously scheduled for vetting on February 16, 2021, but was unfortunately hit with health complications following his recovery from coronavirus.

As a result of the post-COVID-19 recovering complications, he travelled to the United States of America (USA) for medical review at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Recall also that the Majority Leader and MP for Suame, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu had to present the 2021 Budget on his behalf.

Well, Mr Ofori-Atta has returned last weekend and will face the appointment committee today for his vetting as Finance Minister-designate.
