Member of Parliament contender for Essikado-Ketan, Grace Ayensu has threatened to sue Deputy speaker of parliament and Member of Parliament elect, Joe Ghartey over alleged electoral fraudulence.
The contending Member of Parliament in favor of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) has accused Joe Ghartey of using foul means to win the parliamentary elections. She claims three people contested for the parliamentary seat in Essikado-Ketan but six candidate appeared on the ballot papers for reasons unknown.
Electoral Commission(EC) posted the ballot papers for that particular constituency on their social media platforms and quickly deleted it when they realized it was the wrong ballot papers.
A lot of pre-oppositions have risen against the Electoral Commission(EC) and has tarnished their image.
However, Dr. Grace Ayensu has vowed to bring justice by sending Joe Ghartey to court in order to prove he had no hand in the accusation leveled against him.
