Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has made shocking claims that 80% of fake pastors in the country are from the Ashanti Region.
Speaking on his own Accra-based Net 2 Television on Wednesday, May 28, 2020, the outspoken lawmaker said his investigations these fake pastors are mostly the Ashantis.
He added that they often are young men who have promoted themselves from magicians to men of God with the aim of duping innocent people to acquire wealth.
His investigation;

“My investigations so far tells me that they (the fake pastors) are very young pastors and about 80% are from Kumasi. I can’t explain why but from my investigation most of them are from the Ashanti Region.”
Aside from that fact, these fake pastors are duping Ghanaians, Kennedy Agyapong also revealed that they are destroying people’s marriages as well.
“They are not only duping people, they are able to destroy marriages as well…Because of their thirst for people’s spouses, they say all sorts of lies to make some women leave their men so they can go into relationships with them.”
The Kencity Media boss has taken it upon himself to name and shame all fake pastors are duping unsuspecting Ghanaians to enrich themselves regardless.
He has started with Bishop Daniel Kwadwo Obinim who is the founder and leader of International Gods Way Church.
