The National Communications Director of the National Democratic Party (NDC) has afore-warned President Nana Akufo-Addo ahead of the 2020 Presidential election.

Speaking in an interview on an Accra-based radio station, Neat FM, the promising young communicator for the largest opposition party has taken a strong exception about the yet-to-be-conducted election.

According to Sammy Gyamfi who is a Lawyer by profession, the upcoming 2020 election is about works but promises.

Labeling President Akufo-Addo as ‘King Promise’ has sort to lay on bare that the former’s promises won’t save him before, during, and after the election later in the year.

Sending a strong signal, Sammy Gyamfi without fear or favor has fired the president of adopting promises purposely to deceive Ghanaians.

He warned;

“Akufo-Addo is just using sweet words to deceive Ghanaians. This election won’t be about promises but works”.

In sharp and quick contrast and compare, ‘eloquent’ Gyamfi rated former President John Dramani Mahama high above the current President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Scoring and rating both presidents, the NDC communicator likened Akufo-Addo to Togo while likened John Mahama as the USA.

Sammy Gyamfi has recently come under severe social media backlash over an insensitive George Floyd-EC photo intended to chide the EC and Akufo-Addo.

The photo, which makes reference to the murder of an African-American man, George Floyd, is in protest to the Electoral Commission’s compilation of a new voters’ roll.

From the photo/ artwork, the EC Chairperson Jean Mensa is seen in a cartoon kneeling on a book placed on the neck of a handcuffed man with President Akufo-Addo kneeling on the man as well.

This single act by Sammy Gyamfi has attracted notable personalities including rapper Sarkodie who called on the former to gracefully pull down the post and should needfully apologize.

Well, the NDC executive member is yet to apologize though.
