American online video-sharing platform, YouTube, has deleted Wendy Shay’s new song titled ‘Pray for The world’ from its website.
Wendy Shay released ‘Pray for the world’ on December 31, 2020, as her own way of making the end of a year that took the joy out of the world.
However, she used the popular ‘Jerusalema’ beat for her single without seeking for permission from the actual owner of the beat.
The songstress’s producer, MOG Beats disclosed this in a Twitter post.
He tweeted;
“Why am hearing that a group of people went to report Wendy Shay’s “Pray For The World” video and now YouTube has taken it down for what?!! I am angry!!“
“Ow Ghana so this is how bad you guys hate @wendyshaygh ? I am disappointed I cannot lie to you!,”
