Rufftown Records signed artiste Wendy Shay is eyeing Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 new artiste of the year category though critics think Kelvyn Boy deserves it.
The “Uber Driver” hitmaker had interactions with her fans on social media and gave them the opportunity to ask any question they want to.
One Instagram user asked her if she will win an award at the 20th edition of Ghana Music Awards and singer said yes she will win new artiste of the year.

Aside from Wendy Shay, critics think Bhimnation’s Kelvyn can also win that category because after winning the unsung category last year he has been working harder. Quamina MP, Dope Nation, Eddie Khae, Darkovibes and others too are also hoping to be nominated in the same category.
Wendy Shay broke into the Ghanaian music market in June 2018 and within 6 months she released “Shay On You” album and bangers like Uber Driver, Bedroom Commando, Astalavista, Masakra, The Boy Is Mine and others.
