President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo has brought to notice the cancellation of the double track system for SHS one and three students.
The double track system was implemented in the first term of president Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo and it was named the green and gold track.
However, in his 21st address which took place on Sunday, 3rd January 2021, he made it known that the Green and Gold track will no longer be active with the form ones who will resume academic work on the 10th of March 2021.
Same applied to the final year students who will be partaking in the WASSCE this year with their resumption date for academic work commencing on the 9th of January 2021.
The form twos however have been exempted from this new decision and date for their academic work will also commence on the 9th of January.
