Fast-rising Ghanaian female Songstress, Chikel Baby says although MzVee, Adina and Sista Afia are doing their ultimate best, they are just not good enough to bring glory to female musicians in Ghana.
The young songstress who has been the most talked about female musician in the media space is determined to raise the flag of Ghana high and bring glory to female artistes.
She feels her predecessors do not have the determination and creative ability to bring attention on female musicians in the country.
In her Facebook post sighted by Fnnewsonline.com, Chikel Baby also questioned why the music industry is always being led by males and not females.
In her quest to break that ‘curse’ she decided to throw shades at MzVee, Adina and Sista Afia instead because they are not anything to help.
She posted;
“Should our music industry always be lead by the guys? Our female musicians always feel Like as it is in our culture that men are the head of homes so we’ve always lower ourselves for the guys in everything our female musician’s fear healthy and lyrical competition that’s why we are always at the back of the Guy’s I personally don’t think that way though I believe what men can do women’s can do same even do it better and is about time i prove that ladies also have what it takes I’m saying this because ebony did it when least was expected and same will I do it with some years to come by dominating and topping the chart with Good music, at times I ask my self what are my ladies doing so after ebony paving the way can’t we take the advantage and rule or show the guys we are equally Good like them? Why are we always allowing them, well with all this running through my mind I think I have to step up my game and make that change again because I can see most of my female artiste being competent and not ready to make any change or redeemed back that ladies Glory but I am going to make that happen once again and Ghana should watch out!!
