Ex-President Mahama says the late former president Jerry John Rawlings ended coup d’etats of elected governments in Ghana
In a tweet, Mr. Mahama said;
“His fight for social justice, the principles of probity & accountability led to major interventions that ended coup d’etats in Ghana.
“He’s the Founder of our 4th Republic, easily the longest period of stable, democratic governance in the history of Ghana.”
Mr. Rawlings died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Thursday, November 12 after suffering a short illness.
