17-years old singer fast-rising Takoradi-based, Mabel Nunoo, better known as Abna has revealed that she doesn’t sound like late Ebony Reigns neither does she listen to her songs or can she sing any so critics should give her a break.
After the demise of late dancehall singer Ebony, many young females popped up in the Ghanaian music scene trying to sing like her in order to replace the late singer.

In a recent interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central’s drive time, Abna bemoaned how people are trying to compare her to the late dancehall singer though her style is totally different from that of Ebony.
“I don’t sound like Ebony but people saying I sound like her. I’m doing my own thing. Ebony’s style is different and my style is different. We all sing differently but people keep saying we sound the same”, she bemoaned.
The “Envy” singer also disclosed that she not following Ebony because she doesn’t even listen to her songs.
“I’m not following Ebony. I don’t even know how to sing her songs. I don’t listen to her songs. I can’t even sing one of her songs”.
Abna who is now under Original Movement (OM) management is currently touring radio stations in the Western region and Central region with her new single “Envy”.
