One of Ghana’s veteran actress, Maame Dokono, born Grace Omaboe has registered her bitterness towards the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In a recent interview with Agyemang Prempeh on an Accra-based TV XYZ, the once vibrant actress disclosed that her political including President Nana Akufo-Addo have abandoned her at the time she needed them.
According to her, she was severely ill recently and to her amazement, none of NPP’s leadership paid her visit to simply check up on her.
Actress Maame Dokono who couldn’t hide her disappointment has vowed never to campaign or greener votes for the New Patriotic Party.
She has therefore advised fellow celebrities never to go all out for one political party but rather to always be in the middle so that you can take opportunities from both sides.
Grace Omaboe is not only an actress but also a singer, television personality, author, and former politician.
She is currently 74 years old and runs an Orphanage known as Graceful Grace school in Accra, Ghana.
