Sunyani-based rapper and singer Michael Adjei better known as Amaru Wan has disclosed that he will win Brong Ahafo Music Awards 2019 new artiste of the year category.
In an interview with Wyse Promotions, he disclosed that has invested over 5000 cedis in the voting.
“I will surely win the new artiste of the year at the BAMA because I’ve used over 5000 cedis to vote. I’m sure my fans are also voting so I’m leading”, he said.
Amaru Wan became popular in the Brong Ahafo region after he released Adoma this year. He has also released songs like Alhaji, Pretty Girls and Shekina.
Among the 4 songs he has released, he shot videos for Adoma and Pretty Gals which enjoyed airplay on national televisions (Bryte TV, TV Africa etc).
Amaru Wan also did a national radio tour which was organized by Wyse Promotions. He visited Central region, Ashanti and Bono East with his songs.
It won’t be surprising if he wins BAMA 2019 new artiste because he has really worked under the year of review.
