Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu, popularly known as Sarkodie has bragged about being the first artiste to ever start a fan base in the country.
In an interview with Kobby Kyei on stars talk show, the rapper revealed he opened the eyes of other artiste to open a fan base in Ghana since he was the first to ever premiere it.
Sarkodie dared anyone who doubted him to go to his Twitter page and check the date and time which he started his “Team Sarkodie” fan base.
“We started the following but people don’t know that. The thing is sometimes we need to set the record straight. You go and see…If you are doing your checks, if you want to argue go to Twitter to check the date Team Sarkodie was created,” he said.
The rapper further acknowledged Nigerian artiste Wizkid for advising him to create a fan base to promote his music.
