Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Ras Kuuku is not happy over the lack of support from industry players on his music career.

According to him, he is still struggling in the music industry due to a lack of massive support from his own people and Ghanaians at large.

The ‘Wo’ hit-maker mentioned that Ghanaians have ignored talented artists as he claimed that not all of the artistes benefiting from hype are talented.

Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, Ras Kuuku is of the view that Ghanaians fail to notice him because he is not controversial or fights other artistes.

“Some GH artistes are hyped for no reason. Artistes such as Wiyaala, myself, Osagyefo, Akwaboah and a host of others should be very big by now but when you talk about the top 10 musicians in Ghana our names will not be mentioned”.

He added that he doesn’t want to create controversies in order to be noted but he wants his music to speak for him

“I don’t want to create unnecessary controversies to get me out there, I want my music to speak for me,” he added

Ras Kuuku said radio presenters are the best people to help give talented acts the needed push to succeed because they have the platform.

Ras Kuuku’s latest album features artistes such as Stonebwoy, Samini, Rudebwoy Ranking, Mzvee, Black Prophet, et al.
