Founder and leader of Liberal Party Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo has cracked the whip on footsoldiers of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
This followed the attack party’s supporters on radio and television host Abeiku Aggrey Santana over his appointment as Covid Fund Ambassador.
According to Kofi Akpaloo, Ghana is not NPP’s personal property hence the party’s footsoldiers have no right to kick against the appointment of Abeiku Santana as Covid Fund Ambassador.
Mr. Akpaloo bemoans the actions of the footsoldier who wants Mr. Santana’s appointment terminated because of his association with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Criticizing the NDC is approved from God – Kofi Akpaloo
He noted that footsoldiers do not determine who should be appointed and who shouldn’t be appointed to serve the country when it comes to issues bordering on national interest.
” NPP does not own anything in Ghana. The resources of Ghana are for all Ghanaians, people should get this in their heads. Everything in Ghana is for every Ghanaian.
We have not handed over the resources of Ghana to NPP for them to take it. They should get this understanding. We have only gone into an election and elected the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to manage it for us. Every Ghanaian deserves a better share of our resources.”
