Rising Afro musician Gershon Basis, hailing from the Volta region and based in Ashaiman, has been making headlines with his debut EP “Go Beyond”. The talented young artist launched his EP on September 1, 2024, at Keta Woe Happy Corner in the Volta region, alongside a lineup of emerging and established musicians from the region.
However, that was just the beginning. Gershon Basis took his EP launch to the next level with a series of events. On November 23, 2024, he hosted “Go Beyond Night with Gershon Basis and All Stars” in Ashaiman, featuring a star-studded lineup of local talent.
The third and most recent installment of the launch series took place on January 5, 2025, at Italian Boys Pub in Nungua, Accra. This event was the biggest yet, with Gershon Basis delivering an electrifying performance of tracks from his EP. The evening was made even more unforgettable by the presence of his fellow stars, who came out in force to support him.
With his “Go Beyond” EP launch series, Gershon Basis has cemented his status as a rising force in Ghana’s music scene.
