Songstress Eazzy has disclosed that she hasn’t dated any her managers before and has also given the advantages and disadvantages of dating a manager.
Reacting to artiste manager Bulldog’s claim that managers should sleep with their female artists on Radio Central with Amansan Krakye, Eazzy admitted that Bulldog is right in some way.
“I think he is right in a way and he is wrong in a way also. He is right because for an artist to do well the manager has to have full interest. He has to think about the artist when he is sleeping, waking up, eating so if the person is your boyfriend or husband you will become the most important person to him. He wants to see you do well, he wants to see you explore and go all the places an artist will like to go. He will put all his energy into it. So if the person loves you that’s the good side”, she explained.
Eazzy also explained that there is a negative side to because it doesn’t always make business a success.
“The negative side is sometimes when you mix business with pleasure, it doesn’t always last, it doesn’t always go well. That’s why I said there is a good side to what he is saying and bad side as well”, she added.
The “Wengeze” hitmaker also revealed that she hasn’t slept with any of her managers before but if you are female artiste and your manager is in love with you it’s not bad.
“Personally I haven’t had situation whereby my manager and I have dated. I have always love business with business so when there is an issue and we can’t solve it we can go our peaceful ways and can still be cool. I have been under label like Lynx, I didn’t have relationship with any of them so right now if Richie meets me he can hug me, raise me, we can talk online. But if the person is was you lover it becomes difficult so for me I wish women will push their talents with determination, hard work and what is meant for you will come. But if you have a manager and he loves you that’s not bad. There is 50/50 advantage and disadvantage too”, she divulged.
