Dr. Nyarkotey Obu to be inducted into West Africa Hall of Fame as a Noble

Ghana’s foremost prostate cancer and natural medicine researcher, Dr. Raphael Nyarkotey Obu, recently set a mark for himself as the youngest professor in recent times in Ghana and Africa at age 34.

He has also been nominated to be inducted into the prestigious West Africa Nobles Forum as a Noble, to be held on August 29.

The West Africa Nobles Forum is a group of eminent West Africans. The forum has a membership of over 2,000 and made of statesmen, legal luminaries, Politicians, Research fellows etc.

Dr. Nyarkotey mission to fight prostate cancer in black men started as a Master of Science in Prostate cancer care student at the Sheffield Hallam University, UK. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in alternative medicine from, Kolkata, India and postdoctoral training under Dr George Geogiou at the Da Vinci College of Holistic Medicine, Larnaca city, Cyprus where he researched into the Hibiscus sabdadiffa plant for prostate cancer.

Dr. Nyarkotey has developed a breakthrough product called Men’s formula for prostate health and immune booster approved by the FDA. Men’s formula is the only product formulated with over 14 ingredients and is based on science and research.

He established the RNG Medicine Research lab in Tema to research into Naturopathic medicine and prostate cancer and further established the first Naturopathic Medical School in Ghana accredited by the Traditional Medicine practice council of the Ministry of Health. The college, Nyarkotey College of Holistic Medicine currently has a student population of over 50. He has published over 30 peer review papers and over 500 scientific articles in the leading national newspapers in Ghana.

He has three patent pending.

Dr Nyarkotey has won several local and international awards.
