Don’t deny children education over dreadlocks – Mikal Asher warns

Renowned reggae star Michael Morgan widely known as Mikal Asher has slammed the Authorities of Achimota Senior High School and described their conduct as an oppressive behavior that must be condemned.

According to the member of the musically Blessed Morgan Family, in a time when Africans should be celebrating African culture and embracing our freedom from Colonial rule, unfortunately, they are practicing the same oppressive behavior they learned from the former slave masters.

He told Virgin Blogger that this Achimota issue is so humiliating and that the people of Ghana need to rise up and take a stand against this stupidity.

The uncle to Grammy award-winning Reggae band Morgan Heritage explained that Our leaders and educators are denying our children of education because they have their hair in Dreadlocks, which is an ancient African tradition.

He asserted that “ignorance continues to inundate us because we refuse to learn. Who brought writing? It is the blacks. I mean history is there, yet we refuse to learn, we refuse to look into the things that belong to us but rather rejoice over the things that have been stolen from us.”

He further added that our people have abandoned our, traditions, our culture, and our Ancestral identity. Yet they embrace a culture of immorality called the LGBT, which is being forced upon us by the same European colonizers. This is not African culture.
