Akufo-Addo to rename the University For Development Studies after Rawlings

President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo is set to rename the University For Development Studies after late former president, Jerry John Rawlings.

This was contained in President Akufo-Addo’s tribute to former President Jerry John Rawlings at the final funeral ceremony held yesterday, 27th January 2021 at the Black Square in Accra.

According to Akufo-Addo, this move was in the right direction because of the efforts made by the late Jerry Rawlings in championing the cause of higher education in the country.
