President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will in the coming days named private legal practitioner, Kissi Agyebeng as Special Prosecutor.
According to Daily Graphic, the president has penciled lawyer Kissi Agyebeng for the Special Prosecutor (SP) to replace Mr. Martin Alamisi Amidu, who resigned on November 15, 2020.
Mr. Agyebeng was appointed by the government in 2019 as the Chairman of the Electronic Communications Tribunal, a position he took over from resigned Justice Samuel Kofi Date-Bah.

At the Electronic Communications Tribunal, he supervised the affairs and adjudication of appeals at the Tribunal as stipulated in The Electronic Communications Act, 2008 (Act 775).
He also presided over the hearing of the case involving the closure of some radio stations in the country by the National Communications Authority.
